Silk Cinema has been on the scene putting out captivating music. From her first track 'Say you'll love me' to her latest single 'Afterglow' it has been nothing but golden. Silk Cinema has grown into a complete artist, gaining traction after her Album release in 2019 that received nothing but praise.
Now with her newest Single in 2020, she is back at it again consistently releasing sweet tunes.
We got a chance to have a short chat with Silk Cinema about her latest single 'Afterglow'.
“Afterglow has a real funk sound to it, what inspired the groove and the track as a whole?”
The music wasn't inspired by anything specific. Just late 70s/early 80s smooth jazz-funk in general. Wanted to do that sort of sound but with electronic elements.
“Over 100k streams on Spotify. How does that feel?”
It’s amazing! Knowing that people are listening to your music and enjoying it is the best feeling there is.
“What drives you to pursue your passion for music”
When music is inside of you there is no other option but to let it out! You have to push to be heard in this industry so if you’re not driven, it won’t work.
